Welcome to StyliQ ("App"), an AI-powered Outfit Planner mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and managing your personal information securely. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information when you use our App and services.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account Information: When you register using third-party OAuth providers (Google, Apple, Facebook, Pinterest), we collect your name, email address, profile picture, and authentication tokens.

  • Profile & Style Preferences: We collect mandatory information such as gender, and optional information such as skin tone, body type, preferred city/country, color preferences, fit preferences, and aesthetic choices.

  • User Content: Images you upload to your wardrobe via camera, device gallery, or Pinterest integration.

  • Usage Data: App usage patterns, feature interactions, and wearing frequency tracking.

  • Device & Location Data: General location data (city/country) to optimize weather-based recommendations, and camera access for wardrobe uploads.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • AI Processing: To provide personalized outfit recommendations, we process your wardrobe images using third-party artificial intelligence APIs (e.g., Google Gemini AI) to extract garment attributes (color, fit, pattern, category) and remove backgrounds.

  • Service Provision: To sync your wardrobe across devices via cloud storage (Supabase PostgreSQL & Edge Functions), manage your sessions, and maintain your StyliQ Canvas workspace.

  • Improvement: To train and improve our smart reminder systems and general recommendation algorithms.

4. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services
We do not sell your personal data. We share necessary data with trusted service providers strictly to operate the App:

  • Cloud storage providers (Supabase) for securing and hosting your data.

  • AI Service Providers (Google Gemini) for analyzing garment images.

  • Pinterest API (only if you link your account) to import your selected boards.

5. Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is securely stored using AES-256 encryption. You have the right to request account deletion at any time. Upon requesting deletion, your account enters a 30-day recovery period, after which all personal data, images, and preferences will be permanently wiped out.
